We’d one of the first Tesco home delivery slots of the day. Great, as aye. Unfortunately the overnight snow and our hill hampered his onward progression. Our shovels made no impression. A neighbour with a rope and a 4x4 driver got him on the go again. The snowfall increased. By 4pm when we went out walking the snow was 8-10”. We spoke to a few folks shovelling their drives. And learned some new things. It’s always good to get out. Also nice to nice see kids out sledging. TV report confirmed great skiing conditions in Scotland’s resorts....shame the centres are closed due to restrictions.

Strict onternational travel coronavirus quarantine restrictions outlined in Scottish Parliament today. Ambition is to try and control covid19 case development from overseas (this was root of many Scotland cases last summer after restrictions lifted (genomic sequencing confirmed)). 822 new cases today, sadly 59 deaths. U.K. deaths are still appalling - another 1052.
