Rising Waters
Loads more rain, and strong winds today; which was fine, as I was translating and suchlike in the morning, and both of us on Zoom this afternoon, talking to our new financial adviser, seemed a lovely man, half Spanish, half English, living in the Algarve.
Late this afternoon, it stopped, we walked down to the Lake, thrilled to see it rising so much, most of the water in this photo wasn't there before, and water was still rushing in everywhere, including from our Lane, which has streams running down it.
You can see both our buildings on the slope in front of the castle, the top one more visible since the olive tree pruning. And all so green. A burst of late sunshine (see extra) and then the rain again, thankfully when we were nearly back, so didn't get too wet.
Gratefuls:
- finding someone knowledgeable and trustworthy (thanks, Judith) to sort out the complications of paying tax in two countries, Brexit implications, having to do a Portuguese will, and so on
- lots of rain and, hopefully, enough sunshine to keep our batteries going
- managing to download my photos, it's getting increasingly iffy, wish I knew why...
