Ice in the Bay

It was so cold today that the sea water was freezing as the high tide ebbed from the sandbanks out in the Bay leaving white ice sparkling on the sands.  Considering this is saltwater, albeit to a certain extent diluted by the freshwater from the River Kent, I was surprised that it was instantly freezing.

No news re the welfare of yesterday's Amazon man but his van is still here so he clearly has not yet been allowed to drive.
