Old College, Edinburgh.

These steps lead up into the quadrangle in Old College, part of Edinburgh University. It has been refashioned recently, and has a grass area in the middle of the quad; it a quiet place where the weight of history can be keenly felt. This is a special place on my walk to work, and I will often make a diversion especially so that I can walk through this lovely place.
