Rotor

As promised in my Blip of two days ago this is the rotor of the low pressure turbine of unit 7, prepared to put back into place again.

You can see how big it is, compared to the man who stands in the background.

It's a diabolo, the steam enters in the middle and flows to the left and rigt, expanding as it passes the different wheels.
At the last blades the steam passes to the condensor where it becomes water again and is pumped to the boiler to become steam again.
And so the circle is round....
