reblip - changed the photo for one taken by E earlier, having been reminded by Ripitup's blip that the challenge this week is scissors!

Started on the decorating today with the gravitationally challenging task of papering the ceiling. Essential help from S and occasionally E-with-a-broom to stabilise things on some of the longer stretches.
By the time we were towards the end S was putting it up.
And it's still there.
It does look an awful lot like this one. Not a deliberate choice of the same paper - rather the same pragmatic need: inoffensive, covers cracks, will do nicely.

This photo, decorating generally and some discussion elsewhere, leads me to mull on the common misunderstanding of the epithet 'professional'.
A professional would not have (indeed, had not) removed fittings, switches, shelves, etc. to paper, paint, whatever behind it: that would cost time for no financial gain. I, on the other hand, have the time and inclination to do things in a less cut-corner'y way.
The power is off, by the way.
