Covid Adelaide

Adelaide recorded over 1 million completed COVID-19 tests today. The state’s population is over 1.7 million, and so far we have had 605 cases and 4 deaths from the virus. An outbreak in Melbourne has given our state premier cause to close our border with Victoria to those travelling from Melbourne.

A testing site was set up in Victoria Park last winter. Normally around this time of year the annual V8 Supercars race festival takes place in the park. The only cars on the track this year are those of people waiting to get tested.
