Bay Horse
A well known public house in my village - obviously closed at the moment. Apparently it is the only pub in the village to keep it's original name.
The building to the left was the former council offices but is now owned by the Wetherspoon chain of pubs. It is called 'The Harry Clasper.' Harry Clasper was a legendary Tyneside rower in the Victorian era. He is buried in the nearby local churchyard. His grave can actually be seen in my Blip from yesterday (it's the tall pointed one). I'm sure there was some local ledgend that if your ran around his grave three times you would see his ghost. I've never tried it.
I have attached a couple of extras from my walk.
