We have quite a lot of snow lying now, and had a few small showers of snow this morning, but it is such a beautiful day, with bright sunshine.  I have had two short walks so far today, as it is bitterly cold, rather than a longish one.

One of our neighbours had some concerning news, his partner flew to Nigeria at the end of last month to visit her parents, and is now due back, but there are no flights coming from there, and they have now introduced new rules which mean that when she does get one, probably not before April, she will have to hotel isolate at great cost.  Difficult times.

Now in the warm, and about to make our afternoon coffee, with some fruit loaf, the HG's favourite.

I love how the buds pop through the snow, and have included an extra too just because I like it....
