Removed battery

I took the battery out of my car to get it tested at an auto place to see if all I need is a new battery. My car's been idle for a few weeks, and didn't start when I tried jumping it a couple of weeks ago.

This was my first time really doing anything under the hood. Jill had to buy a socket set, but I was able to get the battery out easily. It's sitting on the sink in the basement.

A winter storm is nearing, so I took the battery out before it arrived. I'm going to wait to take it in because if I need a new one, I'd have to install it and then drive in the snow. I don't want to deal with that. We could get 9 inches (22cm) of snow over the next few days. Yuck.
