This little piece of ice sculpture was on my cabin this morning.   I think it looks like an elegant crystal swan.
The pavements and lane were difficult to walk on this morning due to the black ice and frozen slush however we managed to walk to the meadows and Luna had a good run around in the snow.   This afternoon we did walk along the lane but in places it was treacherous, and will probably be worse tomorrow as we are forecast -9 degrees overnight so any thaw from today will be frozen solid for sure.
