Nature's ice sculpture

The sky was the most brilliant blue today and I was captivated by the different ice formations around the pond and along the stream. Although it was very chilly and the air temperature remained below zero all day, the sun shone brightly all day and highlighted the iciness.

I finished clearing the brambles along the stream bank but I will need to go back to it once we have a thaw so that I can dig up the roots.
