Natural Cycle of Growth and Decomposition

Up early to get to the yard before anyone else and make the most of China still being in his stable when I got there. I had a lovely ride and the work that Emma is giving him is definitely paying off.

I was back in time for my usual Sunday walk and catch up with my friend K and her dog Ted. We walked along the canal and back, it was lovely and quiet and it was here I spotted these fungi covering the old tree stump, doing their bit for the natural cycle of growth and decomposition.
