Ice Age

I don’t think it’s been above freezing point for about a week in Skelghyll Woods. Quite a slippery walk around the Champion Trees trail and up to Jenkins Crag for a view of the Lake District fells. See extra.
It was great to get out and feel the ‘alpricity’ which as we now know means ‘the warm of the sunshine in winter cold’!
