Making the best with what you got

It was pretty freezing on the canal walk early this morning with most of it was frozen. The resident swans seemed OK paddling around in this small area although the heron we saw seemed a little perturbed walking on the ice. Then it was back to job in the home office. It still amazes me that Sienna can't believe that I work all day long (as I've always done)! I've guess she's never given it any thought before what I do all day while she's been at school...
