Standing Up to the Heat.. Just!

After yesterdays heat.. whcih was 44.3 at my place these gladiolus enjoyed a goo watering before a I left Akaroa to make my way home to Christchurch.

Luckily the roads were not too busy as most people would have left yesterday after the the long weekend.
