Another Marsh Sunset

This photo is not at all representative of the day I've had.

A more representative photo would include a young child screaming in rage, but honestly that's not something I'm gonna take pictures of. 

But it sure is nice to come home and reflect on a peaceful scene. I do like it. 

The tall snag on the left is visible from the house, and it's one reason we always have binoculars ready both upstairs and down. Checking it from time to time is more or less automatic. It feels like part of the furniture really. When the shrike appears on top it's a sign of spring. Right now, mostly crows is what you get, but that's just fine. Who doesn't like a good crow silhouette on top of a dead tree?
