Decisions
I sneaked out of the office half an hour early tonight to pop in to Eastleigh town centre to see what was happening and if there was anything worth blipping. I had been hoping to see Howling Laud Hope of the Monster Raving Loony Party, or maybe Mr Ray Hall from the Beer, Baccy and Crumpet party, but they must have nipped to the pub.
I did manage to say hello to the delightful Mr Colin Bex of the Wessex Regionalists party who looked resplendent with his Wessex Flag draped over his shoulders. Unfortunately Mr Bex couldn't stand around chatting. He apologised and said he needed to buy some trousers before the shops shut. One might have thought he would have sorted his wardrobe out the day before an important parliamentary election, but maybe there had been an unavoidable accident when he bumped into Mr David Bishop of the Elvis Loves Pets Party
Such a good picture of colin which in any other day would have been a clear blip. However, I went round the corner and saw these two members of the paparazzi loitering, and the expression on the chap on the rights face at having a camera aimed at him was, I thought just perfect. I am very pleased with this shot ....
I just need to add for KimD and any other overseas readers, these are genuinely people who stood for the parliamentary election in Eastleigh today. There were one or two of the main stream parties as well!
