On a school night?

A day for visiting my Grandmother (Amélie's Great Grandmother) so we took a walk along the canal to see her after breakfast. It was cool spending time with them both (80 odd years apart) and we took a walk back to let Amélie have a sleep while I made a pot of chilli con carne and a chick pea & rosemary pasta soup - fantastic, and so I opened a bottle of wine in the early afternoon to enjoy the sunshine as my beautiful girl slept outside.

We had some lunch and headed out to the park in the evening as the sun was dying down, loads of fun on the swings and chute. . .

Joni and I finished off the vino over some pizza and pasta.
