Inversion

Got wakened early this morning, so got a cuppa early, then made breakfast. As I looked out the window, before wash & dressing warm, I noticed a temperature inversion.

Temp inversion can be seen often over the River Forth, but this time it was over Cramond & Dalmeny Estate & I could see the tips of The Bridges & faint snowy hills behind.

You don't normally see all the trees in my sunset pics but the view changes thru the day & with the weather.

Currently -13°C in NW Edinburgh.

Now going to get warmly clothed & another cuppa. Hope you can keep warm too. Looks a lovely clear day now for walking but icy snow underfoot and definitely a woollie hat, scarf & gloves day :-D
