Sleeping Beauty

History became rumour, rumour became legend, legend became myth.

Behind the century old thicket, was there really a pub that had been asleep for 100 years? Could it be true that the jealous owner of the Hoddesdon Tandoori had cast a spell when he heard about the first pub curry night? Maybe it was just that the service had become sufficiently glacial for the staff to be overcome with catalepsy. Ten decades later, who knew?

This brave and carefree apparition decided to investigate, took a machette to the hedgerow and cleared a path to the door. There was a side bet that this was the result of some young floozy playing fast and loose with spinning wheel (can you imagine her state after 100 years without so much as a bed bath?) but everything seemed remarkably sanitary.

How do you keep beer for all that time without it having a bizarre impact on the imbiber?
