Snow Shadows

Dear Diary,

Sixteen years ago this month I got my first camera and began photographing seriously again after a nearly 25 years hiatus.  The first photograph I made was of snow shadows made by my garden fence.  (extra) I called it A Winter Edging.  It was a monochrome image, I only worked in black and white back then, and I've done another today of the dooryard fence shadows on the snow.  After all these years snow shadows still draw my eye.
