THE SHADOWS

A busy morning.  Had to go over to Mum's as she needed to be taken for a medical appointment (nothing serious, just an annual check) and in these days the only way she can get there is by taxi, we'd rather she didn't do that.  She also needed a few things sorting out in the house so Hubby came to to do those whilst we were out. We were all masked up and didn't stay.  

We are her bubble so it allowed but we try to only go over when needed or once a month as it just doesn't feel right going.  

Boy it's freeeeeezing out there again but so beautiful.

Not too much traffic on the roads and we decided to stay away from Morecambe Sea Front as it would be very busy.  

On the way back home, we turned off the M6 at Carnforth and came home via the A6.  We stopped briefly at the layby just outside Milnthorpe where the deer can usually be seen, so I could get a blip for today and I loved this tree and it's shadows on the Dallam Estate.  No deer or sheep around, they were obviously obeying Covid rules and staying at home!??

We were back home by lunchtime.  How I long for the days when we can stay longer and take her out, even if its just for a drive round.
