It was - 18 C overnight. I was surprised as my house didn't feel too bad. It must be the blanket of snow that it still has.
I went walking with a friend today up over the hill. It was tough going through the knee high snow but oh so beautiful. 
We had taken a warm drink and cake. Felt like we had arrived at a cafe when we sat in the sun. 
I'm tired tonight after walking 13 miles in snow.
