LD 325. Healthy, but cold out the sun.

Temperature was showing -6c when we went for a walk. “Feels like -10c” said the website; certainly was cold when out the sun. It was a bit of a trudge at time, quite hard walking, especially along beside the water. We were rather “warm” by the time we got to the park, where children were sledging. A snowplough came and gave our street the once over mid afternoon; much appreciated as the few cars on the move, and delivery vans, are getting stuck on the hill. It’s much more challenging elsewhere, and Braemar was -23c; lowest February temperature in 25 years.

We’d a good catch-up with our sons on the phone - they called when out for their lunch time walks. We sat on a bench in the park briefly when the older one called - but didn’t linger as it was too cold.

848 new coronavirus coronavirus cases in Scotland and 48 deaths. Now passed a million folks vaccinated in Scotland with exceptionally high vaccination numbers in most at risk target groups now ... been a lot of political shouting about “lack of progress” here ... and suddenly we find U.K. government have been under vaccinating key groups, particularly in Care. Even BBCScot have had to report that.

325 days of lockdown restrictions.
