Birch in the Cold

Finally a walk after work!
Wrapped myself up nicely to face the cold.....it may not look like it, but it was awful cold in the biting east wind. Made my nose feel like it would fall off. Had to go home because I still need it (my nose) to keep my glasses up. You can see, we didn't have much snow here in the southwest of Germany (unlike the rest of the country).

The extra: Never noticed the two deer until I uploaded the photo. I was concentrating on the frozen puddle and was blinded by the low sun.
