Another quiet day in the hills

A longer walk from the door today, across to Garnett Bridge and then along the Longsleddale valley and up to the open moorland called Sleddale Forest.  This is the view back to Longsleddale and the Howgills.  Sunshine and bitingly cold wind again.  We saw only one other person for most of our walk, and that was a very cold-looking mountain biker who must have been very wary about the icy path down the hill.
