Derwentwater

It was a lovely drive out to Cockermouth this morning and nice to be moving a bit and to have a change of scene, listening to the news of planned reforms on the radio as I drove. On my way back I walked down to Derwentwater and along to Friars Crag to get some air after a day in a mask, stretch my legs and to see if there was much ice. It was a bit windy for any ice to form at the Crag. Many years ago I remember looking out and the lake being covered. As you can see here though, there was quite a bit by Crow Park. Oh, and I spied a pair of blippers cycling as I was driving!
