oh deer...

mama deer got separated from her young ones (just on the other side of the fence) and they all seemed a bit distraught.

I got to within six feet of her and she wouldn't relinquish her post. As I walked away, I saw her scamper along the fence (with the young ones following on the other side).  Hope they got reunited :)

I've not yet followed today's proceedings of the impeachment: there's only so much aggravation I can take.
