Streatham Observatory

That would be fun, but this is just a building by the paddling pool on Streatham Common. I'm not sure what its function was/is.

Despite concerns about ice, I ventured out with Fred to the park. The paths were mostly OK and the icy bits were small enough to avoid. I had to walk in the road a few times. The Rookery was lovely in the sun, but I didn't take any snaps as it was too busy to hang around. 

I confess that my motivation was rock bottom today, but I did manage to tick a few things off the to-do list and I was rewarded with an email from a friend who I wrote to yesterday. His words were very cheering. I wrote back straight away, which is six months quicker than my reply to his previous email. 

On the quiz, I won by four points over Mum and Rory. All the answers in the quiz were connected in some way and we didn't get it. But now I can't get the connection out of my head.
