the light shone through ...

It has been another very beautiful day - the garden has so many bird and animal tracks in the snow - I especially enjoyed the heron footprints ! they looked so big . Poor creature would be looking for water but everything is frozen over. J saw the heron yesterday taking it's time exploring the garden. 
We went out rather late today and walked round the larger reservoir as the sun was going down . It was all very lovely with the water frozen over.
I am reading a book called 'The Snow Child ' by Eowyn Ivey given to me at Christmas. It is beautifully written. It looks like we will have cold weather for a few more days so perhaps we may keep our soft snow for a wee while longer. 
I am using my laptop to post up my photo and it vanished . The calendar on the computer was at February 2020 for some reason !
