Impermanence

Three of the yellow tulips that are almost beyond keeping. They have a very different kind of beauty.   I used a grungy, grainy edit to make them look old, blurry and faded.   The color photo is in the extra.   

Jerry got a call from the orthopedic doctors office today and his knee replacement surgery will be next Friday.  Sooner than we expected and messes up some weekend plans that we had in the works but he is ready to get it done.   Me too!
