CNY decorations in our building

These orange plants can be found around Chinese cities during Chinese New Year. And our building’s plants have arrived today.

The orange looks like the colour gold and therefore is auspicious for this season.

I had my last bible study for my time in HK. There is another lady leaving a few weeks before, so all a bit sad.

Then home quickly for Jon to open his presents before we went down for a family lunch to celebrate his birthday.

It’s been raining all day, long awaited rains. Cold too. Very unusual, but necessary.
