There was a wickedly strong, cold wind as we walked around the lake.

The wind was in our backs on our way back to the car, and we managed to find a delightfully warm sunny spot, out of the wind, right by the lake for our picnic lunch!

We only saw a handful of other people walking around the lake. The most splendid outing!
