Buns for Tea

I’ve been avoiding the kitchen for some weeks now because of ongoing work in the scullery which seems to affect every part of the house and especially the kitchen.
However, we’ve run out of the very worthy, but boring, biscuits we’ve been making do with for our tea time treats so, despite the difficulties, I’m now looking forward to this civilised interlude in our busy day.
