Who Really Cares!

This is the poster originated by group of relatives to create public awareness of the plight of families who are not permitted to visit their loved ones in care homes.

My wife’s mother, aged 92, is in a care home. For almost a year now my wife has been denied access to her mother. Visits are outside at closed window, recently in darkness and sub zero temperatures. Conversation is via mobile phone.

Sadly, the care home in question refused to display the poster on their premises. In contrast to the wonderful support she has received from local shops and businesses.

Much unnecessary distress is being suffered but no one in authority is prepared to take pro-active action to allow controlled access.

What has become of this country.
