Winter into Spring

I think my title says it as it is...... on our walk today it was wintry with lots of snow, not fresh stuff but lying from the last few days, but we also saw a sign of springtime in these hazel catkins.  Nice to look forward, even though I have been enjoying the last few days of weather.  I do think we are fortunate to have the Gulf Stream protecting us from the extremes, though, otherwise our weather would be like Hudson's Bay in Canada.

A day of this and that, haven't achieved much, but then these days I never do!
