Feeling a bit sorry for myself today. My 83 year old auntie was admitted to AnE in the early hours of this morning. I’m next of kin, but to say I was slightly surprised to receive a phone call at 3.50am to come and pick her up and take her home is an understatement!!

After running tests for infection they came back clear and due to Covid it was decided home was the best place , pity I was working today, so I’m running a bit on empty.
