In memoriam

The slightly spooky cherub's face sculpture on a headstone in the graveyard of St Mary's church, Foy, Herefordshire.
Several headstones with similar child's faces on them, clearly a 'fashion' around a certain time in the 19th century.
Good to get out for a walk today, although it was still freezing cold, this area has been spared the snow... I'm no fan of the stuff!
