Canal walk

The canal in St Helens - an occasional stretch isn't frozen but most of it is. No geese or waterfowl on it today.
What looks like debris ont he ice was mainly chunks of ice and leaves - I think the ice chunks were because a few bottles appeared to have been chucked on the ice for some bizarre reason. The leaves were a result of the arctic-type wind that's been blowing for 2 days.
I was walking while Terry was shopping. I did offer but he insisted on doing it - I think he is bored as it's too cold for him to do anything in the garage workshop.
Feeling a bit under the weather this afternoon and no idea why but somewhat revived after an afternoon nap.
