Snowy Start

Another light dusting overnight. By the time I came home after work yesterday the snow was almost gone, and coupled with the lighter evening, it felt more Spring-like. This morning it was freezing but gloriously blue, and I spent ages taking photos before I left for work.

I had a really good day today. I don't know why, lots of social time (with the two other ladies I work with) and a good chat with H, and it just felt nice and normal-ish. That and other highlights including a little girl in my class animatedly acting out 'Gowdiwocks!" and another boy sticking a bead up his nose.... 

I got an email to say I could have an interview with a placement I'd applied to, so spent a lot of time chatting back and forth with a friend who received the same email. 

I had a good therapy session, and it was just a very socially stimulating day I guess! Busy but good. I've been trying hard to get to bed much earlier, and it's helped a lot. Although I'm still knackered by the evening, being strict and turning the light out at 10:30pm enables me to get a decent amount of sleep for getting up just after 6am.

It's been so cold that I'm sleeping in so many layers and leaving the heating on all night! There's an icy wind that means I barely break the seal opening the window before the icy air whooshes in!
