Thawing slowly

The canal was well frozen over this morning but with some morning sun parts of it started to thaw. I think by the time we go to bed it will be totally frozen again.
Had a nice chat with one of our bowling league ladies this afternoon. She rang to say she is having her first vaccine on Monday which is great news for our area as she’s only just 65. Things are moving forward at a pace but can we keep it up?
