Torn Rubber

I was driving to my internship site this afternoon on the coldest damn day of the year, so far....my car was not wanting to accelerate, and I thought it was just due to the cold. I just had a bad feeling when I left today...

I pulled over when I could after the car just felt "funny" and called my supervisor to let her know I was not coming. I got a mile back up the road and the sound inside my car was very loud, I knew it was a tire. I pulled over again and expected a flat, but the tire was ripped open. Fudge!!!! I called my ex-husband who by the grace of GOD was home....he came to help me.

I am so glad it didn't happen tonight, 30 miles from home at 10 pm at night on the coldest day of the year.

Having a cold beer now.
