Gellert Spa

Budapest is a unique city in more than one way. For those who love spa and wellness, it's unique for being the only large city in the world, which abounds in fountains of healing water. 70 million liters of 21-78 Celsius warm thermal water spring forth daily from its 118 natural thermal springs.
The Gellert was built over a natural thermal spring in 1918 and has indoor and outdoor pools, I don't use it too much, not because it's no good but because it's normally full of tourists. But as its such a famous landmark the city have done the gold lighting thing.

A change from the norm tomorrow, you should get a daylight blip from me :-) I have a meeting in the hideous Hilton hotel but it is in a great location on castle hill and the weather has been great last few days sunny and 12 degrees :-)

I have a friend coming to stay with me for the weekend from my old unit, it'll be the usual wine and cheese evenings.......God help me :-)
