Shadow in the Snow

We’re having a bit of snow this evening. It’s been super cold with weather coming down from Canada. But it’s also been dry, feeling like it could snow but not quite snowing. So now it is: those small heavy tight little snow flakes that seem more ice than snow.

Had a nice day today, zooming with a small group of the lady painters’ book club and talking together for almost two hours. Then Shelly and I had a late lunch sampling his rye sour dough bread with apple butter. Yum!

In the evening two of the book club gals came by to collect some books I gave them. Each brought her own homemade cookies as a thank you and Shelly and I ate far more sugar than we should have. Both kinds of cookies were delicious.
