Through the glass
We decided to resurrect to deep fat fryer, this involved a good clean before filling with oil and blanching a few chips. John used his iPad to take a photo through the glass, it was the light and reflections we liked, more interesting than opening the door, or letting the cold wind inside.
We bought the fryer many years ago and have only used it two or three times, it has sat in a box waiting to sell or send to a charity shop until I had a change of mind last week.
And why would anyone stand outside cooking chips on a bitterly cold day? The smell.
