Sledging

Today was forecast to be the last cold day, before a thaw sets in tomorrow, so I set out into the Estate with Django shortly after sunrise. 

This winter I've found a location that gives a great view of the "Roman Bridge." This early 18th-century feature shows no sign of being useful for the traffic it's big enough to carry, so I guess that it's just something to be "seen" in the planned landscape.

However, my main aim was to go sledging for the first time in years! Having left early, I had the best local venue to myself. It was very icy, since the kids have been using it for the past few days, so I could get a good speed up!
