Witch hazel and snow

A snowy background to my local witch hazel bush. I went round the block which wasn't icy I was glad to find. I am trying to make sure I get a bit of exercise daily as I've got very sluggish recently. Otherwise it was a quiet day in with Lexi and Alfie - as usual! 

I at last phoned AH who had been in touch ages ago and I had never phoned back. It wasn't easy to find a huge amount to be cheerful about as we now seem to be facing wearing masks more or less forever, which I don't understand - what good are these vaccines meant to do? Or is the virus going to be constantly one step ahead?
