Hubs, Wheels, Bikers & Call Centre Turds
The New Council Hub to be. This framework caught my eye this morning as if it appeared out of nowhere. This is where the old bus station used to be. The new bus station can be seen on the far LHS. Seems a bit of a waste of effort for some in El Porto as the old bus station wasn't exactly "old". This road is now partially one way, for buses only and the other part both ways, "except for access" (see the road signs and you might be able to work it out). In other words don't drive down there or you'll get funny looks from bus drivers. Of the 12 portrait 50mm shots I took to achieve this panoramic blip, 8 were of a lady on a bike. Luckily she turned up while I panned the shots from left to right. And luckily enough she was unaware (as far as I am aware that is) that I was clicking away too. Made my day. The extra shows the building's foundations and closer to the structure, in chaotic fashion. Enjoy.
We got our new Virgin boxes today after long 4 hr online "chat" the other day and a 2 and a half hour phone call yesterday just to get a better deal and faster WiFi. Overall, five people dealt with a matter that should have been a simple affair. They never are, are they? At least the boxes arrived 4 days earlier than stated, though the remote control was missing for the TiVo box. Feckin' typical. Fortunately our old one works with the new box, but it is hardly the point. I imagine those "five people" got their boxes ticked having "served us with a deal" and are probably enjoying some form of commission or anal bonus of some sort.
