St Peter's
Having seen Jane's lovely picture of snowdrops in St Peter's graveyard yesterday I decided to see if I could find the place on my daily walk today. We did find it on The Avenue in Bishopton and had an interesting mooch around.
The graveyard has been converted into a conservation area, leaving the tombs in place, effectively letting it grow wild to attract wildlife. There used to be a church which was demolished and rebuilt in 1836. This was demolished some years back (I can't find an actual date) to make room for housing. There are lots of snowdrops.
The rest of the day was taken up with watching tennis and rugby, and speaking on the phone to my step-sister who I haven't seen for a few years, which was nice.
